The rimmer and Researcher, if on a phone click on one of the chat sections i.e. “sauna discussion” or “your 52 experience” then scroll to the bottom. There should be a box to write a new topic heading and your first message. Looks very like the reply box when you’re in a specific chat. Assume it’s the same on a PC. Hope it works!
