Hey! I’ve been living in Newcastle for a couple of months now and have heard about Sauna 52, at first I didn’t believe that gay saunas existed but I’m very keen in visiting however I’m quite shy and don’t know what to expect. Would it be reasonable just to visit and relax without taking part in any sexual activities? I’d be up for a good snog and a chat if anyone is around but I don’t know. I’m quite skeptical in a good way so I suppose what I’m wanting to know is: “what’s it like for a first timer?” and “is there usually more mature guys rather than students that go?”
Hey man hope your well. You cna basically go to the sauna and do what you want so if you just want to explore and use the facilities to relax ime use the jacuzzi steam room sauna or e en just sit in the cinema room that’s absolutely fine. If people approach you for fun just say no and it’s pretty respectful and they will leave you alone. Generally s good mix of age ranges go bit each day is different so it’s kindaxplucking up the courage to try different days or times. O generally stock with Fridays or weekends but just a personal preference when I can go depending on work commitments.

Hey M! I’m 26 and would be happy to show you around and keep you company. I’ve been twice so far and had great fun each time – looking to go again sometime in the next couple of weeks. It can be daunting heading in there for the first time but the guys are all really friendly and great to chat with, even if you don’t end up doing anything sexual. There’s a mix of age ranges, skewed slightly older (I’d say 40s-50s) but if you go on a weekend, you’re more likely to see a younger crowd if that’s more your style.
