I’m a 20 yo, tall and normal fit btm. I’d like to try a sauna for the first time but don’t really know how one ought to behave there. Should I go and ask someone straight forward or is it more like hitting in a bar?
It’s up to you really. You can be blunt and ask people, 90% of people won’t take offence. Or you can proceed based on signals, eye contact, touching etc.

Yeah, you automatically pick it up when you are there. There are times when I have had a chat with someone before asking if they want to find a room. Then there are times I have silently met eyes with someone and without saying a word, led them to a room.

If youre understandably shy about being in Newcastle, maybe try another sauna to start with, like Manchester, its busy on an end of month Sat night, i go there about once every month of two .
